Depth Of Field

1. What is DOF? ( depth of field)is the distance between the nearest and farthest objects in a scene that appear acceptably sharp in an image.
This Is An Example Of a Small Depth Of Field.

This Is An Example of a Large DOF.
My Photos show DOf because in These 2 photos, the backround is blurry is there is very little detail that you can see, but the image in the front you CAN see
